Spotted: Furnified favorites in Taboo

Do you also enjoy the new season of Taboo? Philippe Geubels once again receives guests 'with whom you should not laugh' in his Walloon holiday home. And the observant viewer has probably already spotted some Furnified classics in the interior…

Taboo is one of the most loved TV shows right now. Philippe Geubels has candid conversations with, among others, people with autism, addictions or an unfulfilled desire to have children. Under the motto 'you get to know each other best on holiday', Philippe invites his guests to his holiday home Roc de Paradis in the Walloon Gaume region. With an amazing view of the Ardennes forests and a cozy fireplace, the living room is the perfect place for candid conversations. Extra fun: Furnified took care of the decoration of the set, creating an attractive mix of some favorite items that you can find in our webshop.

Vintage-looking sofa as an eye-catcher
Intimate, homely and tasteful were the keywords for the interior. After all, guests must feel at ease so that they can tell their story to Philippe without inhibition. Furnified's stylists chose the Gordon sofa as the absolute center piece of the whole. This cognac leather sofa is large, comfortable and, thanks to the special finish of the leather, has a vintage look. A real eye-catcher, in short, where the conversations last once you're on it!

Character armchairs

In addition to the Gordon sofa, the homely setting was further shaped by the leather Gordon armchair and the blue Force 1 armchair . With its characterful look, the sturdy Gordon fits into any interior, while the Force 1 is the ideal recliner where you like to sink into with a book. TheRichard coffee table with its unique, white marble top and iron legs is a real show table. TheOskar sideboard made of high-quality teak and with three storage compartments also makes an appearance in the Taboo set. It forms a fashionable whole with Jill , an elegant and stylish brass table lamp, and theFlorence table . This side table made of black marble is perfect for placing a nice houseplant on it and really finishes your living room.

Calm color palette

Our stylists deliberately opted for a calm color palette of cognac, white, black and muted blue: shades that do not stand out in the foreground, but which strongly determine the atmosphere. They also fit in nicely with the natural environment of the Ardennes. The playful mix of textures – leather, marble, brass and velvet – creates a casual atmosphere in which you immediately feel at home. Accessories such as cushions with print, a soft floor carpet and plants in decorative pots complete the look. Perfect for the setting of Taboo, but actually perfect for any living room.
