Our graphic designer Eva (26) loves art house movies. Her top three are Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind , Her and Call me by your name . Coincidentally all films with a love story, although you should not expect a sugary romance here.
In Eternal sunshine of the spotless mind , Clementine (Kate Winslet) has all her memories of her relationship with Joel (Jim Carrey) erased. Joel therefore has his memories erased, but while this process is being set in motion, he rediscovers his love for Clementine and tries to do everything he can to keep his memory. You can easily watch this movie via Netflix.

Damien (31) designs the new Furnified collections together with the design team. On his must see list: Drive , Queen & Slim and Do the right thing .
Queen & Slim is on Netflix and came out just before the pandemic, so the movie got less attention than it deserves. Queen and Slim go on a date. During their date, they are pulled over by a cop for a minor traffic violation. This arrest gets completely out of hand, so they have to flee together. Despite barely knowing each other, they form a kind of Bonnie & Clyde and develop a deep bond.
By the way, Damien is also a huge Marvel fan, his favorite Marvel movie is Spider-Man 2 .

Me Before You is a film adaptation of the popular book 'Voor Jou' by Jojo Moyes. William Traynor (Sam Claflin) was a bon vivant until he was paralyzed as a result of a traffic accident. He has lost the pleasure of living and would like to end his life. A young, low-educated woman from a working-class family, Louisa Clark (Emilia Clarke), is employed to look after him. A special bond develops between them, but is it strong enough to make William change his mind? You can also find this movie on Netflix!

Marie (25) works in Furnified's customer support department and knows everything about our furniture. She is also a fan of animated films. In her top three: Spirited Away , Coco and Aristocats .
Spirited Away came out in 2001 but is still regarded as one of the best animated movies ever. It is a Japanese animation film in which Chihiro, a 10-year-old girl, lives in a world ruled by witches and monsters. Humans are turned into animals, so Chihiro must work in a large bathhouse to survive. Will she manage to return to her own world? Sounds a bit crazy, but with an IMDB score of 8.6, this is highly recommended. Just watch it on Netflix.
